Im a hunter myself and to be honest cutting up a deer is so much easier than cutting up a chicken or cow! These other meats are just so gross compared to a deer, they're raised in the wild so corn fed pretty much, i just cant get over the fact of all these hormones that they pump into the cows and chickens it grosses me out so bad.

Personally, i would've asked them to do it also, i'm not the greatest of cooks, so if i'm paying for some Grade A produce, id rather let a professional cut it rather then me mess up my whole meal.

And personally i envy people who can do jobs like that, Personally i can't really stand blood.
(some childhood trauma id rather not get into.)

I never understood people not being alright with death. I'm a hunter through and through, I kill all the meat I eat. I seen my meat walk. To me a bolt to the head or a bullet in the heart is a lot simpler, easier, better death than a lion chasing you down and ripping you to shreds. Just my opinion though.

In terms of the turkey leg and getting meat cut, I totally understand that. Some people don't have the tools or the skill (you need skill to cut meat?) to do it. Also at the butcher it's a lot easier, then you just throw it on the grill or in the oven.

I have always thought being a butcher would be cool, until a butcher came to visit my work and they stunk so bad I nearly threw up. Sorry.
