Best Anime Soundtrack
Hey guys, so I know I had a similar topic, which was about what your favorite anime opening or closing song is, but this one is a little different. I am wondering what your favorite overall anime original sound track is (OST). I've been swamped with homework lately, as it is the end of the semester, and I've been listening to a bunch of anime soundtracks while I study, pound out homework, etc.

This is kind of a loaded question, huh? It's hard for me to pick a favorite.
The soundtrack has such an important effect on the anime as a whole, in addition to providing a wide range of effects to the viewer. In my opinion, the music can make or break an anime; a good anime can become that much better with an amazing soundtrack. It helps emphasize the highs and lows of the plot.
That being said, I couldn't find myself able to narrow it down to a single favorite OST. So I chose my three favorites at the moment. I would recommend you guys check these out, especially if you are a student like me! Usually, you can find an hour long video or so of the show's entire soundtrack, which is great lol.
Okay, my three favorites, right now, are below!
Samurai Champloo OST (RIP Nujabes)
Love the Nujabes tracks. His stuff is a kind of a chillhop type genre. The video linked below is just one song.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OST
This might be one of my all time favorites. It never gets old to me. This video I linked is the full OST, so it's long.
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden OST
Wow, so much nostalgia here. Love the hype fighting music; Raising Fighting Spirit is a good example of this. The video I linked is a long one.
Please let me know what your favorites are!

I agree with you there! I like Naruto's a bit more than One Piece, but they're both great.

Same here, lmfao.
I personally don't have a favorite, but I've been listening to Re:CREATORS' and Code Geass' soundtracks a lot lately.
They're absolutely fantastic, imo. I can't get enough of them.

Dude, I was really hoping you might reply to this one, as you always give the best music suggestions. I got a chance to listen to both of these vids tonight as I've been doing homework. I really like the Re:CREATORS' soundtrack, and even listened to a couple of the related videos, with more of the soundtrack.
This definitely helps with school. Hope you're surviving through finals, Medicore

I don't really listen to the OST outside of actually watching the show, but I do agree that music does make or break a lot of shows. If I had to pick one shows soundtrack I guess it would be....One Punch Man OST I guess. Lots of good music in that show.

Gave this a listen while doing homework last night. I haven't actually seen the show, but I totally agree, this sounds great. It makes me want to watch Zankyou no Terror. I'm only about halfway through the whole OST. I had to find a different vid, because that one wasn't available in my country. Thanks for this! Now I have more good music to listen to.
You guys should check this one out too!
