Hi, I am having troube playing (Fortnite) I am dropping frames as soon as there's someone nearby I understand it comes from my config that's pretty old, I would like to know what to change to increase perf (Like the top priority)

My config:

Operating System
Windows 10 Professionnel 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz 58 C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
8,00Go Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
MSI Z77A-G45 (MS-7752) (SOCKET 0) 62 C
Graphics
ACER X243HQ (1920x1080@60Hz)
SyncMaster (1680x1050@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (MSI)
3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (Gigabyte) 70 C
ForceWare version: 391.01
SLI Disabled
Storage
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 (SATA) 34 C
Optical Drives
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223B

I know that I changed my CPU fan but I absolutely don't remember the name.

Thanks in advance for any input.

You shouldn't have any trouble playing Fortnite with that set-up.

Since we have almost no information to go off other than your specs, there's not much we can help with. Take a note of temperatures, clock speed and utilisation of your CPU, RAM, and GPU when the issue is occurring.

I would first make sure there is not a bunch of other programs running in the background slowing things down. You've probably got bloatware slowing down your system. That's a free fix to disable or uninstall unnecessary programs running in the background.
