When i worked in McDs they didnt care about tattoos or anything, the gaffer just seemed to like what i got or what i have booked lol

My new job they dont care at all as we're all wearing overalls so no one can see any of my tattoos unless I rolled up my sleeves which never happens lol

But tbh, Tattoos in this day and age are more common than anything on this planet, everyone and their Granny will have one so i really dont understand why Employers have such a big issue with them!

I think it depends on what type of work you do.

As for me, in my job we can't have them on Face, Hands or Neck as long as they're below the wrist it's all good.

Employers and companies need to break with the stigma and prejudice around tattoos and employees with tattoos; the stigma being that a tattooed employee will scare customers away because they'll think it relates to a criminal past or the person just looks "bad".

And yes, I understand that there are some careers that OBVIOUSLY won't support visible tattoos on an employee, I'm not arguing that; you won't see a psychologist with sleeves on an office or psychiatric ward. But some employers really need to get with the times.

I know people who have jobs (full-time, not part time) with tattoos. It really all depends on the employer and their policy on tattoos/piercings. My job doesn't allow piercings and it's ridiculous.

I don't have any tattoos but I think it's stupid for just having a sleeve done, like if you have tattoos on the neck or face then yeah I can see you not getting hired but otherwise for having tattoos on your arm it shouldn't be a big deal.
