Skates wrote if youre financially stable and can afford to stop working to focus on school then do it, if you arent i'd say just stick it out a little longer and save some money then go back to school.

Yeah, I was thinking about sticking it out for a year and then go study next September

Where do you live? That's not a lot of money for what sounds like hell. I'm 19 and am making $36k a year.

In the construction trdes there is a lot of money to be had. Back when I was an apprentice carpenter my starting wage was $24.55 + bennefits (the whole package was around $40 an hour).

I think you might be better off trying to find a different job.

I wouldn't work a job if I wasn't happy doing it simply put.
If you aren't happy bud then I think it's time to switch professions and your still a young age so you still can no problem.

I agree with Mikey. Work isn't designed to be fun, but f you're dreading your job and don't enjoy the actual work or the environment for that matter, I'd say definitely take the opportunity while it's still early and go back to college. Find a field you want to study. Apply yourself, mixed with hard work and dedication and the rest will fall into place.

Me personally, I'm 20 and I love helping people. So a good option that I'm currently looking into is to attend college to become a therapist. I feel like I've suffered enough with my own issues to where I can make a difference helping people overcome/work along side their own issue(s) whether that be depression, anxiety anger management, etc.

To sum up what I'm saying, find a field you're interested in learning about, apply yourself, and find a job later down the road after getting your degree that you can genuinely enjoy.
