I like the design, however, I'd steer away from lens flares unless it's just for tiny detail. Try turn the opacity down on the dogs eye piece. Also, try adding extra detail for where he stands perhaps dust being swept across his body/feet.

When designing manipulations it's not about chucking color corrections and adding characters. You've done a good job with the renders. Just the extra detail makes huge improvements. I'm not very good with manipulations, however, I kinda got a gist with how it works.

Imagine it being a painting, patience is key.

Everything looks great except for the lighting on his right arm (viewers left), it's much too light but other than that I like it man
