Does anyone know how to go about getting something arranged?

I'm out of college here 3 years and worked another 3 since the day I left college.

I want to know if there is any groups or anywhere that I could start looking at education courses in the US (any state) in technology - IT sectors.

What should I be looking for? Any recommended institutions in the US?

Also which state would be best to move to and study? I've heard the US can be pretty expensive so cheaper state/college would be ideal just to get a general idea.

I plan on using the education towards a job in the US later and hopefully to get residence in future.

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the level you want your degree to be respected. Plenty of basic IT courses in community colleges that can be used just to show you're certified. They are the cheaper option, obviously.

Or you can go to actual Universities where you'll spend 10 thousand a semester for the exact same degree, but you'll be looked at better because of the school.

Most IT stuff, you can get certified online and don't actually need a degree. There are, surprisingly, more fields in IT than most would know. 'IT' is a name for a broad field.

I suggest getting certified by Microsoft first, because that is one that is used in many fields. Then just branch out from there. Look at jobs you want in an IT field and see which certifications they require.

Honestly with IT certificates are the way to go as long as you're not looking at anything biomedical or engineering related to IT.

Here is a decent newer certification of you're looking for a basic overview of the day to day.

Maybe pair this with a CCNA and some A+ certs. This will allow you to reach out and get hands on experience in the industry. (Maybe code learn some coding languages and build a portfolio of projects)

In a few years, I'm looking to go into cyber security and try to go from there in life. For now I just work IT support and save monies)
