My PC is now built with all the parts you recommend. It turns on for about 10 seconds (no display) and then turns itself off and then back in and it does that in a loop. Idk if the motherboard is faulty or if it needs a BIOS update to be compatible with my CPU.

My initial thought, is that you need a BIOS update. Which is unfortunate, especially considering the amount of praise AMD get from their fanboys for AM4 being around until 2020.

Check the motherboard box to see if it has a sticker anywhere that says anything like "Ryzen 2000" or "Ryzen/Vega APU compatible". If you don't see anything like that, you can get a kit from AMD(one of their old AM4 APUs) to let you update your BIOS. If you need more help with this, send me a PM and we'll get this sorted out!

Only thing I'm not certain about is that OPN. I'd get a picture of this bit of the box and your CPU without the thermal paste on it. I know there is also writing on it which could mean something to them?
