So this rant is about how games have turned out ever since next Gen consoles.

I think companies just sell halfway made games and then just finish them off with insanely huge updates. Why? Why not just take the time to finish a game and make it perfect instead of releasing it and me having a 5-20 gig update THE MINUTE AFTER IT CAME OUT. I'll never understand that.

On the Xbox 360 you either finished your game and it was great or you had a shit game. There were no hundreds of updates later on that followed the game to finish it.

I think companies are just money hungry and its terrible

Rant over, son.

The New Gen Games are very limited games that you can call amazing.

The Xbox 360 Games were way better imo. Hopefully this all changes around soon.

Sadly enough all these companies are money hungry; but that's just how it goes in business. The big money is in DLC now and everyone is following suit. Why sell a full game for $60 when you can come out with dumbed down version and sell a season pass that costs $60 itself.

Just look at all the sports games. EA(Madden) has given away so many copies on twitter/twitch because they know on average people will spend more on points within the game then the $60 the game costs itself. They have even gone as far as to put thresholds on certain stats so unless you have a top tier player he won't be able to make the same plays or do the same animations.

Games have changed to much, there's way to many buy to progress or buy this get something parts to games now which I think is wrong! You buy and game for 50-60 and then pay more if you want to get something others have

On Xbox 360, companies were charged a fee to per update. This was dropped on Xbox One which is why updates are more frequent

I actually didn't know that.. Interesting.

Still, that's shouldn't be an excuse to sell halfway made games and finish them off with updates

I can see your point but I honestly haven't seen any "half" done games released.

There's some good games but I know what you mean why not finish the game before you release it
