I was looking for parts for a new pc and was wondering how much space is needed for an SSD. I was looking to get a hard drive with around 1.5TB to 2TB of space free to use. I would probably put Windows 10 and a few other things on the SSD, but I want to make sure I have enough space.

I am simply asking a question on the "advice" section of this website. I am not looking for smart a** remarks. Simple questions can easily get a simple answer. All I am looking for is an answer. I obviously know nothing about pc builds. Don't be rude.

Around 250 gigs is a good start for a SSD, more if you plan to backup more files. 500 gigs for more than windows 10

Okay, you need at least a 1TB SSD then.

Well, I was wanting to only put the necessities on it, but I don't know if that is a smart idea.

That is without a doubt the single worst insult I've ever heard/read in my life. Good job

Ask stupid questions, get stupid answers.

The thing is, I didn't ask any stupid question. I asked something that someone who knows nothing about computers would ask. Thanks for the help, bud.
