Ok, so I have a £400 GBP budget (at the moment) and I want to build a PC that will be able to handle BO3/W@W custom zombies at max or high settings and other games like CSGO. I want it to be a fast pc with 1TB of storage and one that is also able to run photoshop and video editing software. I would like it's design to be cool and with blue as the led colour. I have no idea how to build PCs so I will need as much help as possible. I have a basic idea of what everything is thanks to Craig's well guided post. Also, if it is any help, I have opened up and looked around a Xbox 360. Idk if that helps any but I thought I should add it in. Thanks in advance -Upside

Edit: I will also need a Mouse, keyboard (preferably a mechanical one) and 2 monitors (one for my Xbox 360/one and the other for my PC. The monitors won't be included in the budget as I will get them when I have more money to spend. And for OS, I would like either windows 7 or 10.

Do you need a mouse? Keyboard? Monitor? Fuzzy dice? Read the "Simple Form" section of this sticky: Forums/t=6751631/pc-building-rule...dvice.html

Grab any cheap kb+mouse for now. The PSU in this system isn't great, it'll be fine with these parts and will even let you add an entry level/low-end GPU with no issues, but I'd recommend spending a little more for one of these;

This will easily let you play WaW and CSGO at 1080p, probably 720p with higher settings or 1080p at low-medium for BO3. If you save a bit of money, an upgrade to a next gen GPU like a GTX 1150/2050 would be a nice fit IMO. Can't really recommend a monitor because we don't know budget, but I definitely wouldn't spend more than £100 on a monitor for console, so one of these would be alright;

any of these would be a pretty good fit for this PC as well, but you could get cheaper monitor(s) if necessary.

Thanks for all that man, that is greatly appreciated. Are all of those sites to get the parts from legit? And did you list a GPU because I don't see it. Also, will I need thermal paste and do I need to get fans too or do they come with the case?

Yeah, all the sites are fine. I've bought from the majority of the UK retailers that are on PCPP. The CPU will come with an included CPU cooler which should have thermal paste pre-applied, or a tube of thermal paste in the box. Usually pre-applied(especially with stock coolers), but some coolers come with a tube of thermal paste, like Cryorig coolers. The case should come with 2 included fans, might only have one though. Either way, it's fine for now. Case fans are easy to add/upgrade in the future and not too expensive, and you're unlikely to be having issues with temps, especially if you're not overclocking. You can easily spend £30-50 on a couple of nice case fans and a nice new CPU cooler when you have some spare cash.

No GPU, it's an APU build so you'll be using the R3 2200G's integrated graphics. Should perform similarly to an RX 550/GT 1030, which is the best GPU you'd be able to fit in this budget anyway, but to do so you have to settle for an 'out-dated'(last generation) dual core from Intel, which is just shooting yourself in the foot. This way, like I said, you can add a low end GPU in the future if you want and you'll be laughing.

Ok so when I save for a GPU and a better power supply than the one you listed in the parts, what card and PSU should I get? I want a good one that will run BO3, W@W, CSGO and other games in the future. I ant one to aim for that isn't too pricy but will do the job. Thanks

Like I said, the 2200G will handle WaW and CSGO easily. You'll be able to play BO3 with it fairly comfortably as well. As for what GPU you should add, it depends when you're adding it and how much you have. Something like a GTX 1150/2050(Ti) would likely be a very nice fit, once they release.

Don't upgrade PSU later, I'd recommend spending the extra tenner or so right now for the CX450 or CX450M, but if you can't quite manage it, the XFX PSU will be fine and will still let you add a GPU later.

I already bought all of the parts that you listed and when I get more money, I will upgrade to a better PSU. As for the GPU, I will take your advice and wait for one of those cards to release. Thanks

Don't bother upgrading PSU to the CX450 or CX450M then. Just hold on to the XFX PSU, it's lesser quality than the Corsair units but it's fine, especially for £30/35. I'd definitely be adding a GPU first, and probably even upgrade/add RAM and/or storage before considering a new PSU.

That said, when you do upgrade PSU, try to get something at least semi-modular.
