Moved your thread to the mobile devices section with the Android Prefix

On topic: You can get a Verizon CDMA s7 for $250 on amazon right now, I think that's a great deal for what you're getting if you don't want to deal with contracts or spend $400 on a better option.

Personally I think buying s7 and installing Lineage would be a great option.

Not UK so I'm not totally sure on prices but it looks like a contract S7 would be around a 24 pound per month contract? Looks like an S8 would run you around 32 pounds a month, so if the extra 8 pounds a month isn't too big of an issue I'd say get the S8.

By the time your two year deal is up the S7 would have been in production for over 4 years, which is big when it comes to phone development. I'd go with the S8, newer phone, newer hardware, less likely to become a hassle.

But, if you don't wanna swing the extra, the S7 is a perfectly fine phone for daily use.

Yes. My girlfriend chose an S7 over her iPhone. She loves it. So far it's a great phone. Has a lot of storage and a great camera. The phone hasn't had any issues with slowing down or anything like that yet so I'd say imo it's a good phone.

The s7 is a great phone and it still has some life for a next couple of years, you should be good with that purchase bro.
