Tbh. When I get depressed I smoke. I know I'm not aloud to talk about it on ttg but it's what helps me. I can be a super crappy mood like I usually am and smoke a little and be happy for almost 5 hoursish

I hang out with friends and family. I sometimes take a drive around the city. Music also helps me

I've lost many friend due to suicide over the years and it caused me to get bad anxiety and depression. Every little thing bothers the hell out of me. I don't know if you're a religious person or not, not going to judge, but prayer works for me. Knowing I have someone that loves me regardless and that everything is on his timing, makes things easier for me. But aside from that, think positive things. I'm a hippocrite when it comes to that, but it's the truth. Talking to someone as well, that's why I'm trying to become a psychologist because everyone deserves and needs someone to talk to sometime in their life.

I'm here if you ever need anything bud.

Music and sleep helps me.

One other thing helps me as well just can't talk about it here, if you know what I mean.

I don't suffer with depression, but I'd definitely suggest getting yourself down to a gym, I know it's hard with having kids but try and find time.

Great way to get pumped, stay fit and helps clear your head.

All the best

My depression started in 2012, used to hit me so bad I'd self-harm and once attempted suicide, then couldn't go through with it. Positive thoughts, family/friends and music helped me the most. But I also started my profound love for web design & development along with music production, and that helped me slowly push my depression to the side. Having a hobby and other interests kept my mind occupied and literally made me forget about the thoughts I'd be having inside of my head.

Six years later and I don't ever feel that way, I'm a lot more positive, my life is stable and I have a baby girl arriving in April

Just stay positive, keep your mind occupied and have support from those who are closest to you.
