That motherboard isn't the greatest. Over-priced for what it is IMO. RAM price isn't included, and that has to add at least another $250NZD. Storage is bad, just really over-priced and a waste of money. You could get a 2TB HDD and a 500GB 850 EVO for less than that 1TB WD Black and the Intel SSD(which is worse than an 850 EVO). The PSU is absolute trash, do not touch it. EVGA G1 PSUs are crap, G2 and G3 are stellar quality, and the GS units are pretty damn good but those G1/NEX units are really bad. The monitor is fine I guess, but a bit over-priced IMO. I'd get something like this instead;

You already included a monitor in the first one? So, your budget is $4000NZD including monitor and keyboard now? Just to clarify..

Preferably I would like my budget to be $3000(maybe a few hundreds over) on just the pc alone and the moniter and keyboard on the rest. So my current budget is like this: $3000 (pc), $1000 (accessories)

The pc will be used for playing indie games and Pubg but I want to give it room to be able to handle something higher spec in case I do pick up something like that in the future.

As for overclocking I have no clue what it is or how to do it

also I forgot I put a monitor up there already, but i;m still looking for a keyboard and not too sure what kind I should get. For the ram the price is not listed on pcpartpicker for some reason but I found the price at $262

You could grab a 4k monitor instead of 1440p, or swap the GTX 1080 for a 1080Ti if you max out the budget, but this would be fine IMO. If you can get that RAM for $260, do that.

I combined both your budgets into one.

This is what I would build, since you will be holding onto this PC in the long run.
It is easily overclockable if you choose to in the future.

I built something very similar for a friend and its a great machine.

Also did a 1440p 144hz monitor, I personally prefer 144hz 1440p over 60hz 4k but you could swap the monitor to a 4k if you'd like.

Also you will probably need a windwos key and I'd snag one off of a key site for around 25 NZD.
