If the earth was actually round, wouldn't water go down all the time and never stay in one place like the oceans?

It's a weird topic and so many different opinions.

Gravity works in mysterious ways my friend.
The world is round 100% sure

Yeah but what is Gravity? its just a word we made up, there might not even be such thing as Gravity, how do we know ?

"What goes up, must come down" - Isaac Newton

Gravity is a fact, no escaping that. However, that can still validate flat earth conspiracists.

There are a lot of other factors in space as there is no gravity meaning that everything on our planet is pushed towards the centre. Including water (adding currents etc)

In my opinion, you can disagree all you like is that the earth is not flat. It's not "oval" or "circle". It's just a blob in space floating around like any other planet/meteor.

Let's say if the earth was flat, you never hear someone say "I lost all my family, they fell off earth when they went to far out to sea".

The water in the ocean doesn't stay in 1 place, it is constantly moving around the earth. Ocean currents move water from one part of the world to the other by forces acting upon the water such as waves, wind, the Coriolis effect, temperature and salinity/density differences. The Coriolis effect occurs due to the rotation of the earth therefore proving the world is an oblate spheroid. (It works the same as your toilet or sink draining anti-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere in a completely perfect toilet or sink without any other external factors such as design effecting it)

Everyone has there own opinion on this "myth" question to actually find the real answer to this question. I do believe the world is round and not flat.

I believe the world is a 4D object perceiving to be spherical. It's a 4D object affected by the space time continuum, thus making it look spherical, but in all reality we cannot and will never be able to see it's true shape.

Edit: Looks like alot of people agree with me lmao but prove to me that the Earth is round in your own words with details, I might change my mind.

Earth has gravity, no one is denying that, right? Think of the earth and its gravity like a magnetic bead. Magnetic things stick to it on all "sides". Much like the earth, anything that is subject to gravity will be held down on all "sides".

As for water, take a normal glass of water and fill it as full as you can. You will notice that you can put more water in it than there is actually space for, this is due to the amount of oxygen in water. Water doesn't have to spread its self flat.

For those of you that believe the earth is flat, have you never been on an airplane? At cruising altitude you can clearly see a curvature to the earth if there's no cloud cover.

When you look up at the sky and see the sun, or the moon, or the stars, or Mars, or Jupiter, or Venus, etc. what shape are they? Why are we so special that we are the only flat rock in space? Oh they're flat too? What makes us so special that they are all pointed at us in such a fashion that they are all circular to us?

I don't believe in "flat earth" but I do believe that it has absolutely no bearing on my life what so ever.
