My budget is £50-£250 and am looking for the best overhead headphones for bass

All I care about is bass and have many headphones in the past such as bose, sony etc and the bass have been good but still not as good as I'd like

Please do not recommend Beats

Thanks a lot! +rep

Beats are garbage. If you recommend them or own them you know nothing of audio. Beats are to headphones as crocs are to shoes.

For heavy bass I recommend something closed back. Audiotechnicas DT 770's are good. They offer superb sound quality and have all the bass you can ask for. I would recommend getting the 80ohm version unless you have a separate amp and dac to power the 250ohm version.
