Hi,

Not for me lol but need a build within the region of 2000. Excluding monitor. My friend has a keyboard, mouse and OS.

Not a clue what games he'll be playing. Not bothered about the colour scheme, just hit me with some parts

Cheers

Ireland?
What monitor(s) is he using?
Will he overclock?

Need to know what the system is going to be used for to suggest anything, so what games, and what else other than games?

Also, if you could tell us what kb, mouse, and headphones/speakers he's using, that would be handy because 2000 is a large budget and if any peripherals are sub par, they should be upgraded IMO.

No Spain, he doesnt have a monitor yet so if you could suggest one, nothing bigger than 27" plz

Just put an overclocking chip in as he may overclock I'm not sure. Office applications and gaming - thats it.

If you leave the peripherals for now, I'll speak to him about it seperately.

Thanks

Sorry, my bad.

So, you can swap the 8700k for an 8600k quite easily. The 8700k is only in there because of the rather large budget. You could also easily get a cheaper case, like a Meshify C. Again, H500P is just in there due to the budget. I'd personally wait for the H500M because they're improving thermals over the H500P(basically fixing the H500P), but the H500P is ready now, and is still a good case plus it's really nice IMO. The Corsair RM750x might not be in stock. If that's the case, swap it for a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 750W.

and here are a couple of monitors;

First two are nice 1440p monitors, and the LG one is 4k. I'd probably personally go with the Dell monitor, or I'd go with the 4k monitor but try to save money elsewhere(like 8600k instead of 8700k) and try to fit a GTX 1080Ti in to the system.
