So I am currently finishing to buy all the components for my first Gaming Pc Build.
And I stumbled upon a very dumb question that I couldn't even answer ( don't hit me pls ;) )

Where does the sound come from ?
That is right. That is my question. Though I heard some people saying it comes from the front panel of the case : is it true ? I know some monitors have speakers but some don't. And I don't own any headphones. Please answer me as I'm feeling really awkward not knowing the answer.

Thanks !

Lol, you're fine, we've all been in that situation of not knowing before. Glad to see you're building a PC

Simply said, there are no speakers in/ on the basic components of a PC build. there are audio ports that you can plug speakers/ headphones into (which would be on the rear side of the case once motherboard is installed). I'd suggest buying headphones or even using a pair of ear buds is okay to use temporarily until you can buy a nice headset.

Yes it should fit. I would totally recommend spending like ~$40 on a better case though.

What you're thinking of is front I/O (input and output). There are line-in connections (usually) on the front of the case and always on the back of the motherboard. Some monitors have built in speakers that will circumvent the need of using external speakers but they're usually poor in quality. You can either purchase an external speaker system or just use some headphones if you have them. Other than that, you have everything you need.
