So quite recently ive had this urge to want to play runescape again, But im not entirely sure if RS3 is worth getting into or not. Ive already seen videos and such and gameplay of rs3 but im not sure if its alot more different to OSRS (As in XP Grinding or grinding for skills and such) or if its similar but looks alot more fancier. Anyone who can help here would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: I have now begun playing rs3 and I am really beginning to enjoy what it has to offer! My char name is ImAdmission if anyone wants to play

R$3 is eazyscape you can buy your levels if youre willing to spend alot of money, or you can grind, its deffiently easier to level up in rs3 compared to OSRS i have an account for both but i quit when eoc came along and since then there has been too many updates and changes for the game for me to get back into it, but OSRS they have had updates but everything they added/changed is easy to get used too. so in my opinion

OSRS FTW

Thanks man. Yeah was just checking rs3 out but it just seems like really in-depth and annoying to play (In a sense that its like wayy to 3d now and it looks abit overkill)

RS3 is very simple to get into most of the EOC combat can be done 100% auto now or if you fancy the choice you can go pre-eoc combat. I don't recommend this since the meta solely revolves around EOC. If you can look past the MTX and the goofy outfits it's actually really fun to play.

The bosses at endgame are simply way better than anything OSRS can produce seriously look up Telos and Nex Angel of Death. These two bosses are very nicely designed.

But you know OSRS is nice to play too I've been playing it a bit more since I maxed my account in RS3. I think it's nice to adapt to both games it gives you more things to do rather than being one-sided all the time which is dumb.

It really isnt all that bad, i still play in legacy mode usually so i dont have to worry about all the hotkeys and stuff but i guess maybe i could get into it but right now its not my skill set when it comes to playing runescape

Personally, can't stand RS3, I think OSRS is a lot better.

OSRS is the alpha, RS3 is the beta. Really, RS3 is extremely easy and doesn't really present much of a challange.

On OSRS, you can really feel the painful grind of leveling up and other things. That's just my opinion though.
