I'm from the United States, but this is for soldiers from around the globe. You guys have the most dangerous job out there, and you don't make nearly enough money to deal with what is presented to you. I have the utmost respect for everyone who serves their country.
I only know of two people currently who have served, or are currently serving. I will not say their TTG Names just incase they don't want me to share, but they know who they are and if you guys read this, I'd shake your hand if I could.
It takes a special type of person to serve their country, you have to have balls of steel, the mental ability to stay calm in unimaginably stressful situations, and just be straight up crazy. For everyone who has served, or is currently serving, I appreciate everything you guys do. If there is anyone else who reads this and wants to post if you served or not, include your country and your branch. I will Rep all you guys, and if you try to fake me out, I will know.

Eli wrote I thought lumberjacks officially had the most dangerous jobs?

Apparently in the UK Farming is ranked number 1 with a total death toll of 167 in the last year alone. Aside from coming into contact with heavy machinery and working from heights, farm animals also pose a danger. Animal-related incidents have accounted for 29 workplace deaths since 2010. I believe the logging industry does out rank farming in the US.

I would 100% prefer to be a soldier in comparison to most of the other jobs listed on those websites since it comes with the job description in many respects and is the most natural job for man.

I served as an AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopter Crew Chief and a Logistics Specialist for 1-10 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion and the 6th Squadron, 6th Cavalry. Best damn time of my life, though I was freezing my ass off half the time, wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you to all of those whom have served or are currently serving. Scouts out!

Currently trying to get fit, I'm working with someone to get me into a course that runs alongside the army that gives me a lot of stuff before I join for real.

I plan to apply again in april 2018. I wish to be a U.N Peacekeeper and help others, I know i'm not in the army yet, but i just wanted to say that.

Thanks to all soldiers defending peace around the globe.

Cheers from Ireland

Originally the army wasn't what i wanted i wanted to be a Geek and do IT, after i completed my 3 Year IT degree i guess being in the army runs in my family, my granddad, my dad and although i was originally going to be a nerd.

I have applied for the front line a soldier, i have an Interview on the 15th and My Medical On the following 21st if i pass my Interview which i should do hopefully.

Its strange how what someone wants in life can just change i cant wait!!
