What games will you be playing?
What will the system be used for, other than games?
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, headset, etc?
Do you have a monitor? If so, what monitor(s) will you use with this system?
If not, what is your maximum budget for everything, incluing monitor and other peripherals?
Will you overclock?
Any preferences, either hardware or aesthetic preferences?

You can up the i3 to an i5-8400 and stay within budget if you drop the HDD for now, or get a smaller/slower SSD. No overclocking because unlocked Coffee Lake SKUs are still over priced IMO. You have the option to upgrade to an 8600k/8700k at any time and overclock. You might even be able to upgrade to 9th gen Core i CPUs with this mobo, and that might even include an 8 core SKU.
