Hi i am rebuilding my pc sinse my mother bored died on me (it was a crappy one anyway) everything in my pc is good besides it, i ordered a new case too btw.

My specs are MSI 390x 8gb video card. kinda old now but still a good card, cpu - i7 4790k i got 16gb of ram, i just ordered msi z170A m3 motherboard, i ordered a new cooler for my cpu also, and a new power supply 500 watts, i plan to keep my same hard drive, and this is going to be my first time building a pc, i am not sure if i will have to re install windows 10. How will it work? will i need a disk? will someone explain it to me, sorry this might be a dumb question i just wanna make sure i no what ti do

You should not need to reinstall, but you will need to re-license the install. If you have motherboard driver problems, you can use sysprep to make Windows happy with the new board.

If you added an MS account to your computer and you have version 1607 or later, you can transfer the license: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Otherwise, you might want to contact MS support.

Should i order a disk copy of windows 10? i do have a account too, so i might look into transferring how would i transfer it to my new motherbored tho if it boots with no operating system, sorry ive never done this before

You already have the operating system installed to your hard drive, so you should not need to reinstall.
