So i was playing and of course came across a hacker and i told my teammates to report him and one of them said he's not going to because the game can detect when someone has injected mods into the game. Is this true? Or do you have to report them so that way it can be looked at.
My thought is yes because if the game could detect it, you would be banned straight away

Depends as if he is using something like aimware which is undetected you will need solid proof of him hacking but if his using something like ez frags which is free he will be banned within a couple of days.

u gotta have 10+ reports within a 24hr time period to be put into the ow queue.

Old thread but idc, VAC will automatically detect the cheat... IF IT ACTUALLY WORKED. VAC sucks and any cheat can bypass it, your only hope is to report him and hope he gets 11 reports within 24 hours which he would then go to Overwatch, and then he's going to get banned if he is spinbotting.
