So right now I have the old Xbox one which is console banned, want to upgrade but I do not have a 4k monitor, its 21 inch 1080p. Should I get the Xbox One S or the Xbox One X? The games I'll play will likely be UFC 2, COD WW2,WWE and maybe a few ohers.

Xbox one S doesn't have 4K gaming but I do not have a 4k monitor anyway, does the Xbox one s have better graphics than the xbox one or is that a myth?

Will +rep, thanks guys!

The Xbox One S has no different graphics, the capabilities are nothing you'd notice, the differences are just in transistors and the bullshit that you don't need to see, as far as RAM, and Graphics go the details are EXACTLY the same.

They achieved the VERY VERY SLIGHT performance increase by adding the in built power supply.

You should definitely go all out and get the Xbox One X, if your going to go for the S you might as well just buy a normal xbox one because they are literally just the same it just has an extra S on the end lol.

Whereas the Xbox One X is an insane console, Will be better in the long run and is an a lot better console than any of the others plus it won't let you down.

With the Xbox One X you then have the option to get a 4K monitor if you wanted one.

As Streamah said go big or go home.

It really depends on your budget. I highly disagree with the other saying go big or go home when the Xbox One X may not even benefit you. You cannot forget that the Xbox One X is 250% more expensive than a regular Xbox One S bundles right now WITHOUT a game. Of course they're right when they say the Xbox One X will perform better and will be better in the long run, but if you're on a budget and just want to game online on a 1080p monitor then go with the Xbox one S.

Another thing to possibly consider is if you actually get the Xbox One X, you do have the option to play games at a higher resolution sometime down the line when you upgrade to a 4k monitor or TV.
4k smart TV's are already pretty cheap. Our family just got a 50" one for around $350. Of course it's not the best and newest QLED technology or whatever is out right now, but they're pretty affordable. Good 4k monitors will cost you around the same, but if you prefer those to TV's and they suit your setup better then that's fine. Just something to consider.

Wait so if I don't have a 4k monitor it will be still 4k as the increase the quality however it won't be AS good as it would be on a 4k monitor but still decent? Is that correct?

Yeah that's basically right. All I'm saying is right now with a 1080p monitor, you wouldn't get the most bag for your buck buying an Xbox One X. But if you're not on a tight budget and plan to upgrade to a better monitor soonish as well, then by all means get the Xbox One X.

Got you, kinda put off the xbox one s as people seem to think it's pointless to buy but i don't really want to pay another £300 on a new monitor and then £500 for the xbox one x unless i can find a cheaper monitor.

I'm buying the Xbox One X but have 1080p TV. Thinking about upgrading to 4K TV down the road (maybe in another year or two) but they do say graphics will still be better on 1080p TVs. You can spend extra and go all out on powerful console or just get Xbox One S. Guess it's just down to preference and your budget.
