I new to building a computer and I'm not sure on what brands are good to use as well as comparability. I'm looking for a pc capable of playing The latest games as well as VR. What I have picked so far is (GIGABYTE AORUS GA-Z270X-Gaming 7 mother board, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) ram, Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz processor, MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G Graphics Card. In your opinion is this a good build and compatible with one another. I'm not looking for the best but I'm not trying to cheap out on it either. Thanks all

Also sorry if that's not enough info. I don't need any accessories at the moment I just want to know if my parts are compatible with one another and will meet my requirements and also if the brands are good. I've read mixed reviews about gigabyte.
