Never heard of them, the reviews say that they are alright headphones. However, for the price, it shocks me that they are just stereo and not surround sound. I own a pair of the Razer chromas and I have absolutely fallen in love with them. They are 7.1 surround sound and fit me very comfortable to where I can play all day.

wut? Never heard of Sennheiser? Like Sennheiser HD 598, Sennheiser HD 700 and then of course the damn Sennheiser HD 800 lol

The price point is because they are Sennheiser and they've been known for their quality both in build and audio. Me personally, I wouldn't drop money on a headset as the sound quality difference between a headset and headphones are far too great. Headphones just have to focus on one aspect, which is sound instead of a headset that needs to focus on sound and a mic.

OP: If you're looking to save a little more money, the HyperX Cloud II has been known to hold it's own very well. Some people will claim it's one of the best headsets within that range, but that's debatable. One thing I want to mention is that the mic on the HyperX Cloud II is adjustable. The Sennheiser one is not adjustable, instead you grab the mic and push up, and it moves further up the ear muff. The HyperX II is adjustable, so you can bend it closer to your mouth, move it away, ect. That would make me feel a little more comfortable in case you grab your headsets wrong or they drop, you don't risk breaking plastic that is meant to stay straight, while only being able to move up and down, instead of metal/rubber tubing that can be more forgiving in bending and placement.
