So, I am a massive noob when it comes to computers. I literally do not understand anything when it comes to specs. I currently have a laptop that ice had for yonks, I only really play games such as runescape and league. Even then I have to play on the lowest settings to play without lag or delays.

I was looking around for a cheaply priced pc which doesn't cost a ton and can easily run these games without issues on high graphic and game settings

Would someone please tell me if this is even worth spending money on? I would like to play games such as battlegrounds and a few steam games such as Comedy Night which looks fun. Although, I don't really know what is suggested to play those games with.

The main game I want to play on high settings would be RuneScape as I enjoy it a lot and dying to experience it in high quality.

This is what they suggest is needed to run the game on high detail if anyone is wondering,

Processor: Intel i5 or i7 or AMD Athlon X2.Graphics:
ATi Radeon HD, 512MB Nvidia GeForce G 100 or better.
Memory: 4GB DDR3.Video Settings
: Graphic Details on High.
All options turned on.Renderer: DirectX or OpenGL.

Could I run most games with this? Or is it the case where I could but it wouldn't run smoothly

I would stay away with from that PC. £500 for a shitty prebuilt with NO operating system and of course the vague listing of it's PSU.

Geforce GT 710 1GB graphics card that's at it's core. It is one of the best selling cards on the market and offers users an affordable way to step onto the gaming scene, perfect for beginners who play games such as Minecraft. Although it will play most of the latest games at decent frame rates, serious gamers may want to look at one of our higher end PCs for ultimate visual performance

Bullshit. I would agree it may have been the best selling once upon a time and even now it still sells good if you need a quick, cheap GPU lying around for testing possible hardware failure or if you're just going to watch videos, but for gaming, especially when thrown into the mix of "latest games at decent frame rates" nah. Now if you don't care about video quality, I guess, but even then I wouldn't even bother really.

I would really just pretend you never came across this build to be honest. Hardware is really dated and it's trying to be pawned off as this machine that can run "latest games at decent frame rates." On top of that, it doesn't even have an OS and it's a damn pre-built, like c'mon.

Building one will be better off for you. If you want to build one:

- What's the budget for your build?
- Do you have a monitor and if so, what type of monitor?
- Do you need a mouse and keyboard or do you have your own? If you need a mouse and/or keyboard, is it included in the budget?
- Do you need an OS?
- You mentioned gaming already and what type of games you were aiming for; anything else you may want to play and/or use the system for? Editing, streaming, ect?

Saw the word "Vibox"

Cleared internet history, that brand is dirty...

But yeah, it's a potato. Dual core APU with a GT710... My chromebook has more processing power.

Ah right, glad I asked here as I was going to just buy it.

Thanks for the replies, I'll look around a bit more and see what I can afford
