Hello my lovely people i have a big problem. I stopped a few programs from running on startup(just ones that werent required) and now once i log in it takes like 15 seconds longer than usual to log in then i just get a black screen where i can only see my cursor. I can go to the task manager. Which i used to re enable the things i disabled on startup and it still happens. PLEASE HELP

If you boot into safe mode, does it load into windows?

Long boot times are almost always caused by a slow and/or failing hard drive. Boot in safe mode to start the OS without any additional software. If boot is still slow in safe mode, it's probably not a software issue.

but it has never happened before this. It was running slow because I had a couple taxing programs starting up when i log on.

Have you tried safe mode yet like root mentioned? That's gonna be the good way to tell if its software or hardware. Press the windows and the R key. Type in msconfig. Go to the boot tab and check safe mode boot. You're going to want to undo that when you get to safe mode.
If it is the tax programs causing a slow boot, you can also disable them from starting up when your computer boots up.
