I have a 4 door sedan with 2 12 inch subs and a 1100W Amp in a sealed box.
I currently have my rear seats down with the subs facing into the cabin for awesome bass, however I'd like to keep my rear seats up for when I have more people in my car, am I better off facing the subs to the trunk, facing them towards the seats, or facing them up in the trunk.
I just want as loud as bass possible with my seats up, it's a toyota camry if that matters at all.

That is the loudest configuration I've been able to do without sealing my trunk completely.
When I had my sub firing into the cabin, it moved more air, the lows were a little better but it wasn't as clear.
If you turn your box around and put your seats up, it won't be as loud.
What type of subs and amp do you have?
Also if you want more output and you have the room for it, building a ported enclosure will give you more output. Tbh sealed boxes are obsolete if you have the space for them.

I would face the subs towards the back as the backseat passengers will have a more pleasant ride, also the sound waves have more room to travel and will make the bass better

The subs and amp aren't special, they were old ones laying around in my garage: 2 12 inch MA Subwoofers and a 1100W Sony AMP ( don't know exact model) the subs have a plexiglass cover over them.
So If my box faces the trunk and I pull my seats down that's better than have it face into the cabin with seats down? I'll try this today.

Theoretically yes, it will give more time for the bass to mature.
Should sound clearer and overall louder.
I say should because every car is different but usually it works.
