I try to avoid it. I'm not saying they're real or fake. I just don't believe it.

Cohle wrote Nope, never seen any evidence of it myself or had any compelling scientific study give me enough reason to.

The standard of evidence most people set for a claim like this is far too low in my opinion.

How would there even be a scientific study ?
It's not something you can go find and touch.
Hypothetically right lets say spirits exist and people see them however its a very rare occurance, theres still not going to be scientific evidence. The common person isn't a scientist and "spirits" arent physical things that can be studied.
Im just saying if you're waiting for a study you'll be waiting a while.

Most people say yes/no on experiences, I would say 99% of these can be deemed coincidence.

Ghosts? Not really, never come across them myself or seen them in fact. I have seen a spirit figure that would scary but told mother about it as she all into the god believe thing and I described what I saw and she said it's a demonic spirit figure. The place where it happened is on my work and the place is haunted I've heard so there we go.

Notice I said that it would give me enough reason to believe.

For me in particular, this hypothetical study wouldn't have to prove that ghosts and spirits do exist, it would just have to come up with one or two instances of a 'haunted' building or place being completely inexplicable by every natural cause we can think of, which is a lot.

I think that if it did get to that point then not believing would be just as baseless as believing, so I might believe. It's still a big might though.

But let's go completely by strict scientific testing standards. One of the first things something has to be to be tested is repeatable.
If a ghost is making the same noise in the same part of a building every night for a year then it's probably a pipe.

So yes, you're right.

I do 100% believe in evil spirits and evil ghosts etc. Ive actually never came acrossed any evil spirits or anything in that sort of category in my 21 years of living. But i have friends that have had some pretty crazy stuff happen to them and i do 100% believe in that stuff. But ive always stayed away from that kind of stuff. Never will i play with a spirit board or even try to talk to ghost. I stay away from that kind of stuff and i try to stay close to god and surround myself with positive vibes etc. Now i believe some people are just stuck with evil spirits and what not due to the stuff generations before them did and it carried over to them. But stay close with god and you will have no worries.

Crazy Story my Friends Dad told me

Now i would of not believed this story told by anyone eles other then my buddys dad "Randy" He is one of the most serious guys you can talk to and doesn't not bullshit. Now with that being said, let me tell you the story he told me. (TRUE STORY) He was working in the mines in Nevada, well he was living alone with his dog and he would get off work around 1 in the morning. Well he was living in this house up on a mountain (Basically a cabin) Well this night he got home and everything was normal. He has the next week off of work so he planed to just relax. So we went to sleep as soon as he got home. He fell asleep and work out around 4 in the morning to his dog barking. His dog was barking in his room as if something was in his house but his dog was too scared to leave his room. When we woke up he heard his cabinets in his kitchen start slamming open and closed, and started hearing all of his plates and items that were in the cabinets fall out and break when they hit the floor. He said this went on for about 5 mins. He was so freaked out he stayed in bed most of that day he said. When he got up he said all of his plates/items were shattered all over his kitchen floor with the cabinets all opened. Now like i said the only reason i believe this story is because i am pretty close to randy and hes a no bullshit type of guy. Also his son "My Friend" has some pretty weird shit happen to him as well... Hope yall enjoyed the story. My fingers now hurt from typing LOL

I don't believe in that stuff personally myself. There must be a reasonable explanation for everything ;)
