I start up cod 4 and it's just black on my rgh

I replaced the patch and default xex smh rookie mistake any help

It's either the Default_mp.exe dll or patch that is causing this

You can either do a fresh installation of the game or just find a patch that has the default_mp.xex and a patch_mp.ff included and it should work fine if that's all you changed.

Or how do I reinstall a game and put it on the hdd? Can you put it on with neighborhood

If you have the disk for the game, just install the game through XEXMenu or FSD. I have personally always used FSD and it's never given me any issues so I would recommend using that.
