Hey I decided to try and build a PC instead of getting a laptop. I would like some build suggestions on the website [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

I'm going to be using this PC for gaming mainly, editing, and rendering. I do need a monitor, keyboard,
mouse, and headset with a mic. Oh, and an operating system.

Budget: $3000-$3200.

I think he was mentioning he has the webcam and it works with no complaints lol

This PC is a 4k PC, which he included a 4k monitor. If he included a 1080p monitor or even a 1440p monitor that wasn't 144Hz or higher, you could very well argue that it was built as overkill. The 1080 Ti will be able to play most games at 4k @ 60 FPS, with some games needing small tweaks such as lowering Anti-Aliasing (don't really need that in 4k anyways to be honest.) If it was a 1080p or 1440p monitor, it wouldn't even be a question of how well games run as a 1080 Ti really has no place for that low of a resolution, unless one of those monitors was hooked up as an extra monitor to a 1440p 144Hz+ or 4k monitor.

Edit: There is a slight conflict in OP's original post. He mentions needing a headset with a mic. Did you need just a headset (mic is with a headset) or headphones and a mic? The reason being, is because in the list Z06 maid for you, a headset that already has a built in mic, is paired with an external mic. I can't really see the use of 2 mics, that would give you 2 different audio qualities.

I dont have the same build as you, here's mine.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
My 6700k is running @4.7Ghz, i dont usually run an OC on my 1080's since theres no need to, but they both get to 2100mhz. I can play any game @4k above 60 fps max settings, the list i put together for you should be comparable to mine could run any game while the rgb being everywhere lol

Sooooo...he's buying an OS for more money - while also it being a CD and not having an optical drive? There's also little reason to have 2 1080p monitors with a 1080 Ti. If they were 2 1440p at 144Hz, I would be inclined to agree, but right now, that's two TN panels @ 1080p.

OP: I made this edit in my previous post, but there is a slight conflict of information that is needed for the build to adjust a final total. Do you need just a headset (mic is with them) or headphones AND a mic? I really can't fathom you needing 2 mics, that will have 2 different qualities; one being a headset, the other being an external mic.

I needed a headset with a mic attached, Sorry that wasn't clear enough. But I'm considering about 3 builds right now and Adam gave me a little bit cheaper build so I have more room to upgrade in the future.
