His final performance of 'Crawling' is also mind blowing, the song has more meaning now more than it ever has, I often overlooked the lyrics as a kid not really knowing the meanings. But ****, you can really see him struggling during this performance at times.
Such a powerful performance.

A sad loss to the music industry, I will cherish the days of listening to Hybrid Theory every day after school. I wish I had the opportunity to see them live as a teen.

Even with a loving family, money and fame, the demon that is depression and mental health prevailed once again, such a scary and powerful illness.

RIP.

RDM wrote I was really distraught by this, no one saw it coming.
I was a Linkin Park fan a long side my dad, so its awful to hear

New said he committed suicide on his friend Chris Cornells birthday which not long before he sang on the funeral of Chris Cornell who committed suicide not long before.

Really sad.

Yeah soundgarden was a good band in the 00's inwhich LP came up those years also.

Suicide is a serious problem in todays society. I cant speak much on it as i have never struggled with a mental illness and hope to never have to. A friend is just one call away and i know the thing that is so easy to pick up to surf the virtual world is so heavy when you need help and should call someone.

Death is something to expect in this world but is never easy to get over when you lose someone no matter how sick they are. It still leaves an emotional scar forever.

Definitely a very sad time for family, friends and fans.

Always did enjoy their music.

Such a sad loss, will not be able to listen to his music the same again. He helped a lot of people with his music.
Sometimes you're the one that needs the most help though.

Majority of his songs lyrics are very morbid if you take his death into account, especially the latest song Heavy.

Lyrics of Heavy

I don't like my mind right now
Stacking up problems that are so unnecessary
Wish that I could slow things down
I wanna let go but there's comfort in the panic
And I drive myself crazy
Thinking everything's about me
Yeah I drive myself crazy
'Cause I can't escape the gravity

I'm holding on
Why is everything so heavy?
Holding on
To so much more than I can carry
I keep dragging around what's bringing me down
If I just let go, I'd be set free
Holding on
Why is everything so heavy?

You say that I'm paranoid
But I'm pretty sure the world is out to get me
It's not like I make the choice
To let my mind stay so **** messy

Very sad news, proves fame and fortune doesn't bring everything. Pity though, leaving behind a family like that, 6 kids...

He will be missed.
I remember listening to his music during several stages of my childhood, and this just brings back old memories. Yet I don't think he should have taken his life away, leaving behind his several children no matter how strong the death of his friend affected his life.

May he rest in peace.
