2 Questions:

I'm in need of new shoes for going to the gym, for the longest time I have just used my old trainers but they have been worn down over the years so I wondering what everyone else wears and could do with a few suggestions (no budget)

Second question is, what can I do to feel more energetic ? I constantly feel drained and almost zombie like. I am drinking lots of water and have cut out the majority of my sugars so I dont crash (but have enough to keep my blood sugar high enough so I dont impact my epilepsy). Are there any suggested supplements or foods I should add into my diet to improve my situation.

Thanks

Just buy some cheap shoes like Roshe. They are cheap, durable , and comfortable. As for having low energy I suggest a pre-workout supplement, gives you a nice boost of energy.

Shoes : I would go for some nike flynits.

Diet : Are you sure you are intaking enough veg throughout the day , are you taking a multi vitamin tablet every day etc... these nutrients contribute to energy. As for feeling like a zombie during workouts I would suggest maybe purchasing a pre workout or something. I personally usually have a monster ultra before a workout to give me a boost. Also make sure your water is like 2-3Litres a day.

Shoes: I would check Nike, i got some nice training shoes for 60% off. Ended up paying $40 and the shoes will last me for a very long time.

Energy: when it comes to before a workout, i never take pre workout especially being so young (20) and my Testosterone levels being so high. if i need the extra boost i just get a small ice coffee On my way to my workout. but diet also helps a lot. healthy input will give you good output. and a consistent sleep schedule is so important!!!

Why not just get some Nike Flex? They're relatively cheap and they're good to workout w/.

Not sure about your energy problem, but you should probably be taking something pre-workout so you aren't completely drained.

I bought these just for the gym as they are so light and you don't even know your wearing the, there about £140 though
but well worth the price, You need comfortable shoes for your work out, I never leave the house without them.

For the gym I just use a cheap pair of Nike Runners and in terms of energy, make sure your getting your meals in. A good breakfast before a workout, like porridge or even fruit.

1. If your gym allows it, try using your socks or going barefoot. Very good for deadlifts and no, your ankles will not slip while you're squatting! Else get you a pair of shoes that have the heels in the back (powerlifting shoes). For none powerlifting activities, any shoes will do.

2.
- 1. Make sure you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep per day. (REST)
- 2. Eat 6 meals per day
- 3. Take a pre-workout supplement. It depends on the person, so try out a few. Some hurt my stomach, while others make me stay up til 3 am.
- 4. Figure out when you have the most energy throughout the day, then choose to workout around that time! For me, it's around noon and around 6 pm.
- 5. Keep your stress levels low!
