Thought it would be a good idea to buy a Helmet from a new site (that I have never used before) for $190 CAD, bought it through paypal noticed there is a conversion fee, the $190 CAD tag looked daunting although I googled that it costs $150 usd. Shipping was just called "Fed Ex Ground" No specific date given. I normally get stuff via amazon 2 day shipping and this is out of my comfort zone. Although I have to commit, the order went through. The site looked trustworthy and legit, it's just Canadian bullshittery.


Before you even say it, I have always wanted a flashy medieval helmet to just have

Anyone else get that ill feeling sometimes?
Like $150 wouldn't kill me to lose but it's the uncertainty that really hurts.

It looks interesting though, the helmet, What are you using it for display ?

I personally only buy from reputable sites because of things like that. I can't stand the idea of losing money

Yeah, mainly just sit on a shelf or a conversation piece, the options are endless.

That's basically me, but the helmet wasn't something you can find anywhere. The site seemed fully legit since I think they are the actual makers of the helmet in question and not some 3rd party.

if you pay through paypal youre pretty much not gonna get scammed. its easy to open up a claim and get your money back.

Nah I dont because I use Paypal and I could just open up a dispute and get my money back if they tried to scam me.

I usually start getting that "ah, this is going to be a shit product" whenever I buy something that comes directly from China (not a stereotypical comment, just truth).

I recently ordered a pair of bulbs for my car's fog lights, said they were coming from China. It was cheaper than the ones made in the USA so I said "whatever, I'll buy them". Took them a while to get to me and I threw them on; a few days later, probably 5 days later, one of the bulbs started flashing and finally went out. I was incredibly annoyed.

That helmet looks sweet, do you collect any sort of medieval weapons or anything also? But you can get money back with paypal easily so I wouldn't stress it, if you didn't supply us with a link to the site could you? Just to see if it actually is reputable or not.
