What answer do you expect? More than half of the members on here are from the UK.

Anyways, Football = American Football. Nuff said.

"Hurr durr, but in soccer you actually kick the ball". Not like there isn't a such thing as punting, field goals, kick returns, punt returns, etc in the NFL. Most of the people in this thread are just ignorant soccer fanboys.

I think more of the users are from US tbh...
But if you read the at the side of the subject "Posted: Sun Mar 05, 2017 11:52 am"
This was purely ShoutBox banter months ago. And this "Hand Egg" was brought back up again and BAM! The topic was bumped. I honestly thought it would of been closed by now.

But now it's brought back if you're going to be salty about things. Stick to the poll option, save yourself the warning for flaming. (not aimed at anyone direct)

Potion wrote Soccer is the kicky thing. Football is the Tom Brady throwing the ball thing.

Yep, that's where it's at

football is played on a pitch with your feet. Not on a field where you throw a ball

Duplicated wrote Football is hitting the ball with your foot, hence the name "Foot" ball

But you hit your foot against the ball in both of them. Aka Punting, returning, field goal, on side kick.

If you're going to call it football then that should be the main aspect of the game, not throwing and running with it.

Since I'm from the USA, football is to NFL as soccer is to FIFA.
