When I try doing recovery's the profile will download and sign into Xbox live but then it disconnects. I click connect to Xbox live and it doesn't do anything. Any fixes?

Try signing in on the Xbox site first. That usually fixes the issue.

I had the exact same issue, then I think I switched servers and it worked!

The other party could be signing back into their account. Let me know if you are still having this issue.
