ReevyMods wrote It's mainly the modding scene, just think it was probably just a bunch of kids leeching for mods back then but now modding has died down and these kids have grown up and been replaced by the type of kids that are obsessed over cringey youtubers and fidget spinners lol

"Cringey YouTubers and Fidget Spinner's"

I love you Reevy

From now on, all my CoD tags and emblems will have TTG some way or another in it.

For almost any PC game that allows me to use a clan tag, I always put TTG in it. Since CSGO allows you to use your Steam Groups as a clan tag, I use the TTG Steam Group. Plus on my Steam profile I mention my name on the site and on my Steam profile I even have TTG has my main group. I have been "advertising" TTG for a while, but doubt it's done anything since the only time anyone goes on my Steam profile is to try and shit talk the Russian, complain about my VAC ban from like 4 years back or weebs shit spamming my profile, then the friends who also go on to shit spam my profile lol

My personal opinion is that TTG will never be as active as it was back in the day. People grew out of the site and moved on with their lives. There are some of us that stayed and continue to use the site on somewhat of a regular basis some more than others. The reason it blew up in 2011-2012 was because of modded lobbies, this was one if not the best site to go to if you wanted a 10th lobby. There isn't a high demand for that like it was back in the day. TTG is moving from the modding scene from what I can see to more of a community site where you just post and meet new people. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see TTG be as active as it was back in the day; I just don't think it will happen.

I couldn't agree anymore with Gaps. When the "OG" users signed up they was like 13-17 years old. They've grown up, probably no longer game anymore, have families of their own etc. With Sean now becoming a 9 year member it just shows how old some of those guys could have gotten.
As for the get together gaming suggestion. That's what the "Community Events - Game with staff" or even "Game with me" think that's under general gaming now but yeah, that's what they are for. But imo they don't happen often enough and games can't hold enough users to host these.

I would love to see this site gain more activity like it once had back in the day. It's up to the younger kids to spread the word to your friends and fellow gamers at school. I also think we should do more community nights or something where we get together and play games together. Usually when I'm playing a game I put TTG in my clan tag for the hell of it and just random tell people to go sign up lol.

Sadly I don't think the site will ever be a big as it once was, as a previous member has said above modding has damn near died out and TTG is moving away from it more and more it seems like, but it would be awesome to see us gain more active members that will visit the forums frequently.

I definitely miss the old days though.

I was younger when I first joined the site, and life kinda just hits you when you least expect it and you realize you don't have much time to game / mod like you use to when we had nothing to do at all..

The site is trend based there is nothing going on right now every single year we have the same thing lol the site is more active now than it was in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, I can't claim that for 2013 because that was the most busy this site has ever been it smashed all our numbers because new consoles were released then.

The fact is name a game right now people care about? TTG has a big userbase of CoD players who like to mod you need to understand that modding is dead and CoD has fallen from its top spot so that will drop those users for TTG.

TTG is doing insane numbers for resource based content in the past couple of months over 100,000 downloads have been issued from our downloads area that is the highest ever for the site the focus has moved from the forums to the downloads right now.

This is what will bump the forums again:
A good call of duty
Xbox one/PS4 Exploit
A big title like destroy or the division

I don't like pointing out post count because its not a good read on anything but if we look at your post count OP you've posted once per week for the past 3 years and that's not a bad thing that's because you're mainly a reader and that is how the forums are used by 99% of viewers they read and don't post.

We're an established gaming website with over 2 Million accounts and almost 30 Million posts trust me we're in a very good place you don't have to think back too far when the gamertag reset happened the shoutbox alone had 180 concurrent users within it this is the clearest sign that people come here when there is something going on.

A publicity stunt is silly I have no issues sending speed out naked in LA holding a 'Hell is coming convert to TTG sign' but its a desperate move for a website that's far from desperate.

Anyone who claims 2010/2011 was when the site was the most active is totally incorrect 2013/2014 we saw insane numbers that would be almost impossible to reach again the bar was set too high.

I don't want to hear '2 MIllion members none are active' that's a really dumb way of looking at it Facebook has over 2 Billion accounts and 50 Million active users the same goes for anything from Xbox to Hotmail the point is someone owns an account on that website. sometimes we forget just how big numbers are every day over 400 people join TTG are you telling me we're dying? 400 is a huge amount of people remember that.

TL;DR been here 9 years, I see the numbers we good fam.
