Ok So this is Kinda weird i play most games easy on PC @ 60 Fps from heroes of the storm diablo 3 overwatch mad max shadow of mordor witcher 3 skyrim deus ex human revolution and fallout 4 etc

now here is what i dont understand i just finished getting BLACKOPS3 and DOOM Both games are rather new in comparison to the ones on my list . and i consistently get horrible frame rates from 10-25 fps if im runing them after being on my pc for it bit (Netflix ,browsing shopping etc) but if i turn my pc off and then turn it back on both games will run amazing 60 fps +
i just want to understand why it runs crappy if i dont play it from the start

bottom line: If i play the games from the start they run perfect. If i play them 1 hour after using my pc then they run like crap I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY??? any ideas ?

MSI R9 280x
8gb Ram 2133mhz

Mhm well since it's only happening after you already used your pc for a bit maybe its just too much stress on your pc causing you to drop frames.

Used to happen to me on my AMD build.

What do you have for cooling? How many fans, how big are they? Do you have liquid cooling?

I ended up putting in more and bigger fans in my PC along with a bigger liquid cooling unit and it resolved the issue.

Im thinking its your CPU.

Its... not really for Doom. Or really any AAA titles that do heavy cpu and gpu

updating the drivers fixed Black ops 3 but doom still does it still kinda strange and i have the 212 evo and 2 fans , and i would agree man but i can Rung the Witcher @ high Settings and get 40-50 fps easy and witcher is one of the most demanding games to come out recentley so i dont understand DOOM looks great but it aint the witcher

Open task manager and see what applications are running. You might have background apps running, causing games to run badly. Also keep an eye on CPU and GPU temperatures and utilisation.
