I bought forza by total mistake on the store spoke to support via the internet chat they refunded the money into my bank however the game is still playable anybody else ever had this? will I be banned if I play it? thanks.

Yeah they refund the cash but they don't take the game away its done it before with me on 360 with GTA i bought it from the store by mistake when i was checking something out.

There is a slight risk yes. Its Microsoft were talking about here, if you still wanna play it I would say disconnect from XBL and play. Then you're safe

It's an error on microsofts behalf, if OP originally asked for a refund (removal of the game for money spent, back) then if the game is not removed he cannot be penalised. I guess playing it after knowingly asked for a refund and receiving money back is wrong, it was microsofts duty to ensure the permission to play the game was removed on money back.

There's always a risk. To everyone saying it's not his fault explain that to the xbox support after a console ban. I'm not saying it will happen but it's definitely possible.

Maybe, I did this on xbox 360 and got perm banned! But just recently got a refund on battlefield one i was still able to play it but couple days later i was unable to play cause they removed the gaming licsence
