Synopsis
Mortal Kombat X combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style.

Plot
A few years later, Shinnok, an elder god had been summoned and had intentions on attacking the Earthrealm. In effort to put an end to Shinnok's reign over the Earthrealm, a rebel force lead by Johnny Cage and a few others had been established. Being successful in defeating Shinnok, an enemy named Quan Chi avoids being captured and flees the scene. After twenty years later, a war breaks out in which Mileena, a banished empress acquires an amulet which withheld Shinnok inside. A second generation group established by Johnny Cage have a sole purpose to get the amulet back and stop the abusive power from those that withhold it.

Gameplay
Players can choose to fight locally with another human player or AI with a set difficulty of their choosing, as well as play online against foes of similar, lower, or higher skill. Characters can choose from a variety of different characters which possess their own set of attacks and moves. Each character has three different classes suited to their own, making it unique to each character. These classes add special attacks in which only by using that class, can players perform those sets of moves. Players can also select different attires for their character to embellish when facing other opponents. It's all for aesthetics really, doesn't make the player better. During a match, players can perform a wide array of attack combos that when chained, a damage multiplier is added along with a percentage showing how much damage was inflicted. Each character has their own unique X-ray ability, which is really a super ability that shows players the deadly effects caused by it and really aids players in winning a match in which it isn't in their favor. Right before the ending of each match, players can perform a "fatality" kill in which to end and kill their opponents in a deadly and gruesome way. Performing certain moves and having met the set requirements, players can perform a "brutality" kill. Just like fatalities, a player can perform a "faction" kill which are unique to each faction. The factions players can choose from the start of the game are like groups that are pitted against each other to see who will prevail and triumph over the other groups. Players can choose between five different factions who have their own set of standards and award players with gear and items when ranking up in the faction. the "Krypt" is a location where players can use their "koins" to basically dig up graves to unlock items such as new attires for characters, soundtracks, and concept art. Koins are awarded by simply playing the game, win or lose, players get awarded but not as much when succumbing to an opponent.

Graphics
The graphics for MKX are very impressive with the fantastic effects to detail on much of the action that occurs during gameplay. Each character possess their own unique features far from looking alike. The outfits on many of the characters look superb and fit their respective personalities. The details on certain outfits look very crisp and clean. The flailing pieces of fabric that hangs off certain characters moves quite fluidly which is a nice feature to see. Better than seeing the fabric just move with the character's body as it shows inconsistency. The X-rays show a great amount of detail as well as the fatalities and brutalities. During the X-ray scenes, players can see a clear and detailed view of the organs bursting with blood. The bones shattering into miniscule pieces. It looks so surreal at how the overall effects look during the X-rays. The fatalities themselves feature that gory and realistic effects just like the X-rays do. Some fatalities look typical as seen in other games and even films, but a bit different. While others are just unique and so gruesome. The layout of the maps are well created. Textures are well done and features a vast array of items that can be manipulated with. The little splashes when a character steps on it is a nice feature as it slowly spreads. The backgrounds of the maps well suit the battle environment. Overall, without being picky on certain aspects of the graphics, it like dazzles players when a player's eyes set upon the screen.

Controls
The controls are pretty straight forward. Moving the character around is the simplest of things, the only thing that players will have the most difficult time doing is memorizing the controls for certain combos to perform. Pausing the game shows a full detailed list on how to perform whatever attack and combo there is for the character the player is using.

The plot could have been longer than 5 sentences. 12 chapters is a little more detailed than that.

Unlike you Mr. Plagiarizer, I "summarize" the plot. Sounds to me like you're mad because I caught you trying to get a plagiarized review approved. Not while I'm lurking around here.
