General Informatiion

Creators: Rainbow Studios
Genre: Motocross
Platform: Xbox 360 + PC
Made In: 2009

Plot

Well I guess you could say there isn't really a plot to this game as it's career is just Racing and doing stunt shows. So instead of a lol or I will just explain what this game is about. This game is a Motocross/ATV Racing game. There are many different races you can do on this game including Time Trials, 1v1, Stunt Competitions, Off-road Buggy Races and many more. This game has a wide range of Bikes, Buggys and ATVs to choose from which can be bought using I game cash. You earn cash from wining races or competitions. There is also a Xbox Live section where you can go and challenge other users online. I would reccomend it to anyone who is interested on Motocross/ racing.

Gameplay

The gameplay of this game is very interesting. It is the first MX vs ATV game to use both analog sticks during gameplay. The left stick is for controlling your bike and the right stick is for controlling your rider. I think this is a really cool feature as it makes you feel like you are more in control of the bike. At certain times you will have to use the Right stick (One that controls the rider) to stop your person from falling of the bike. This shows a sense of reality and makes the game a lot more fun. To do tricks and stunts in this game all it requires is a few button combinations. Although these can be tough to remember at first, after a while you get used to the. Another great thing about this game is the fact that they have added more than just Motorbikes and ATVs, in this game you can use Off-Road Dune Buggy's and even trophy trucks. Sometimes when your racing you will be up against different vehicles which makes it more challenging but at the same time a lot more fun.

Graphics

Personally I think the graphics in this game are really good, obviously it depends on what TV you have and whether or not you have a HDMI cable but for me the quality was great. The game is Animated but at the same time it looks quite real. Also they have added sound effects from real vehicles which I think just adds and makes this game even better. One thing that I think is poor about this game is the crowd. I know a lot of you are probably thinking why am I even mentioning this? Will the reason I am talking about is is because it looks like they haven't put any effort in at all with this. I understand it would have took them a very long time to go through and detail each person but I think they should have at least tried.

Controls

The controls on this game are quite simple and easy to use. Although they may take a little bit of getting used to after a while you will be fine. Performing tricks and stunts can sometimes be hard as it's not always easy to remember and time the button combinations right. Also as said above this is the first MX vs ATV Series to be have twin control (left and right analog) this really improves the game and makes it a lot more real and gives it a bit more of a challenge.

Conclusion

To sum up this in a few words I would just say Action packed racing game great for any Motocross/ATV fans. Great fun to play but can sometimes get repetitive. Overall it's a great game but can be slightly boring/uninteresting at times.

Epic review buddy, though I think the controls section is a bit light on Info. But nothing to major, nice review though...

It still depends on the TV/Monitor quality on how it projects the images.

480p isn't the same as 1080p...
