Synopsis (NoMoreRoomInHell.com)

Taking inspiration from George Romero's Of the Dead series, the mod is set during a time in which the world is on the verge of collapsing into chaos from a disease in which its origins are unknown. Many experts and organizations have their theories and ideas on how such a disease emerged and started to systematically destroy our very way of life, but one fact is clear to all. Whoever perishes from the disease gets up and kills, and the people they killed get up and kill.

The chances of you surviving this all out war of society and the undead are slim to none. Already, there are millions of the walking dead shambling about, searching for food to eat. There's no known cure. One bite can possibly end it all for you. However, you aren't alone in this nightmare. There are still a handful of uninfected survivors left in this god forsaken hellhole, and with co-operation and teamwork, you may live long enough to fight your way to salvation.

Objective Mode

Objective mode is going to be the close you're going to get to playing co-op campaign style missions. The idea is to get a group of survivors, your friends, together and complete preplanned tasks and missions in order to complete the map that you chose. The system will randomly choose which objective you must next complete, so you're no in control. The maps for objective mode range from being small maps to huge and complex maps.

There will be a glow outline indicating the importance of another player. Objectives can go from being a super easy objective to being a very difficult one in seconds. There will be grey dots on your compass that point you to the important objectives.

Survival Mode

Unlike objective mode, this is purely based on surviving. There is going to be waves of zombies that come to try and attack you and you must fend off and survive them. When you're waiting for an extraction, there is safe zones that you can regroup at. Although, you have to be careful because those safe zones can be used against you to lure more zombies.

You are given set areas that you must defend whilst also defending yourself from the zombie attacks. You will see your designated areas that you must defend located on your compass. You must also keep in mind that the longer you survive, the more zombies that will be coming your way.

After each wave of zombies, you will receive a supply crate via airdrop.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are not the based. The textures look like big blocks of colors and the zombies look cartoonish as if they weren't even given a chance to look remotely real. The couple of textures I could say they actually did a decent job on was the weapons and the interior of houses. The rest is mediocre and they could have done a far better job developing it.

Overall the game is still worth playing even though it has sub par graphics.

Controls

This game not only has the typical COD style controls, it also has full controller support so for those gamers that prefer to use the controller over mouse and keyboard, can do that without a problem. The controls in this game have nothing complex about them, making the game easier to play and more time to focus on learning the game and it's engine, rather than the controls.

System Requirements

Operating System: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or higher
Memory: 512MB
Graphics: GeForce FX 5700 128 MB or better

Rating

Objective Mode: 8/10
Survival Mode: 9/10
Graphics: 6/10
Controls: 10/10

Overall Rating: 7/10

The thing that mainly brings this rating down is how bad the graphics were. I was expecting something a bit more from a game released in late 2013.
