Universe mode is the best. I like making my own stables and going after everyone on the roster.
I like how they brought back the "John Cena U.S. Spinner belt"

I kind of want to play WWE 2K14 now

Defend the streak needs to be more challenging I was going to be #1 in the world for it with 45 "victims" but my xbox froze on the ending screen. Defeat the streak seems to be almost impossible if you use a character like Goldberg, but I used Steve Austin and I beat him in 7 minutes. The create a superstar mode has some new features like Superstar heads which is quite interesting and can be quite enjoyable. Overall I give the game a 8.5/10.

I personally enjoy Here comes the pain better, the combination of things you could do in that game was endless. It was amazing and will always be the best.
I'm hoping they could make a game similar to Here comes the Pain, before they make another WWE game they should really introduce things that we haven't seen before, when they do that is when I'll buy another WWE game.

I'm excited to see WWE 2K15 on the next generation consoles, I hope that they can actually make the crowd somewhat lifelike and have battles in the crowd itself, that would be awesome.

I think that this game is fantastic and has pretty good game play. The graphics are like last year's game but, made it more different to play. They have changed the reversal system a lot and it won't take forever to attack. The AI has improved very well. The AI stands out mostly in the Defeat the Streak and Defend the Streak. It is more difficult and gives players more of a challenge to play. The story mode is still short but, the Streak mode is making it longer. This game is amazing and now I can't wait until next year's game. I think that they should spend a few years on the game instead of one because the game would be the best. This game was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. Even when you beat the story mode like me, there are other modes to play.

Game Information:

Release Date: October 29, 2013
Developers: Yukes, Visual Concepts
Publishers: 2K Sports
Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3
Genre: Fighting

Synopsis:

WWE 2K14 is 2K Sports' first release in the flagship WWE videogame franchise, WWE 2K14. 2K promises the most electrifying, authentic and comprehensive WWE video game experience to date. Become Immortal.

Gameplay:

The gameplay for WWE 2K14, for the most part is perfect. The controls have been the same since WWE '12 which makes it easily adaptable to the user playing. But like every game it does have bugs, these bugs are not major, usually just body glitches that make you look possessed for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal. The game has a variety of different modes to keep you busy such as 30 years of Wrestlemania, Universe mode, exhibition mode, streak mode, and creative mode. The 30 years of wrestlemania aspect of the game gives you the opportunity to step into the boots of the wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Andre the Giant, Big John Studd and experience some of the greatest mania moments of all time, the 30 years of wrestlemania mode is incredibly fun and is perfect for any wrestling fan. The universe mode is ultimately the same as the previous years mode, it doesn't seem to have any major differences but can help you create you to create some fantasy matches and make your dream roster. Exhtibiton does not really give a new variety of features that revolve around match types, however the new OMG moments actually do add some interesting aspects into the games such as kicking opponents heads into ringposts. Streak mode introduces several different aspects into the game revolving around the undertaker and his legendary streak. Defeat the streak allows you to challenge The Undertaker and his iconic streak which adds a challenging twist to a otherwise easy game. Defend the streak allows you to step into The Undertakers boots and defend the streak against the entire WWE roster, the higher the score, the higher you go on the leaderboards, style and keeping the match interesting are key elements in getting points. This can be related to a survival type of aspect of the game and is very enjoyable. Create a Superstar mode has implemented an awesome feature in "Superstar Heads", this means you can choose WWE superstars heads and add them to your superstars body. This can mean making funny superstars with your friends, or making a new attire for your favorite superstar. This can be very intriguing and can keep you busy for a while. The game includes legends from brands such as WCW, WWE. There are no ECW legends sadly. I would of loved to see Tommy Dreamer and RVD in there.

Graphics:

The graphics of the game are similar to WWE '13, nothing special and have very minimal differences between WWE 2K14 and previous games. 2k games have done an excellent job to take the bugs away from the game, better than THQ. The game runs very smoothly and has very little graphic issues, except for the odd headtwist or arm glitch. The new OMG moments do play a key role in the glitches and bugs that are in the game. The double shellshock and Attitude adjustment on two heavyweights such as Andre The Giant and Big Show will be a little bit buggy where you will see arms going through limbs. Nothing major but noticeable. The wrestlers character models are brilliantly done. Most superstars look much more improved since WWE '13. The only superstar that was hurt in the facial features was Roman Reigns, he looks not like himself but it is still passable. Other than slight texture glitches and bugs the game looks phenomenal.

Controls:

The layout of the buttons have not changed that much since WWE '13. The controls are very much alike since the previous games. The button mashing can still be done, it's just not very easy. There are some more complex button combonations to give a better game experience online. Although, people can still easily find a way around it and give a very annoying online experience for players and give them easy losses.

Conclusion:

WWE 2K14 is a great addition to the WWE series and is a fantastic debut for 2K games to show they can bring it with WWE games. The game is much more active and more can be done in 2K14 then in previous games. Although, this is no Here comes the pain, it's a nice start to some awesome games that 2k can deliver. I am very interested to see what 2K does with WWE 2K15 seeing as it is going to be on the Next gen consoles.

Gameplay: 8/10
Graphics: 6.5/10
Controls: 9/10
Overall: 7.5/10
