Synopsis
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game based upon the fictional universe of DC Comics. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. It was released in April 2013 in North America, Europe, and Australia, and June 2013 in Japan.[5][6] An iOS variation of the game was released on April 3, 2013.[7] The game was also ported to Android in Fall 2013.[8]The campaign of Injustice: Gods Among Us was written by NetherRealm Studios in collaboration with DC Comics' writers as a stand-alone story,[24] one that takes place in two alternate universes. Described by NetherRealm as "Story Mode 3.0", the campaign was approached similarly to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and the 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot through the use of a cinematic narrative versus the traditional ladder-based single-player experience.[25] According to lead designer John Edwards, the plot is meant to rationalize the game's fighting mechanics between characters that would not normally fight one another and explain how Batman can "stand toe-to-toe" with Superman.[24] Writers Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti served as story consultants to ensure that the comic characters kept their proper voices in Injustice.[25]

Gameplay
The gameplay in Injustice Gods Among Us is very similar to Mortal Combat gameplay, although there are many differences too. For example each match is only one round; there is two bars of health. There are many stages to play on, up to twelve, and each of these stages have an interactive environment. For example if a heavy attack is near a corner you can the player into another part into the stage. There are various amounts of moves that you can do. During combat, the player charge up a super meter to preform combos or getting hit by the player. Portions of the super meter can be used to counter other characters moves. If the super meter fills up all the way the user can preform the strongest special move. One problem with this game is in the story it gives you experience and it counts towards online which puts you with a better player.Overall the gameplay in this game is very, very similar to mortal kombat and is really fun, the only issue i had of this game is the thing i just said.

Plot
The plot in Injustice Gods Among Us is confusing at first but you catch onto the story line. It all begins when the joker tricks superman into killing Lois Lane and his unborn son and destroying Metropolis with a nuclear explosion killing millions. Then it shows Joker laughing in his cell and then superman kills him. You then realize that in another dimension. Then it goes the real dimension and you are actually fighting the real people. After all of that you figure out that superman is trying to take over the world and are trying to stop him. Im only going to say that so I dont giveaway the whole thing for you.Overall the plot in Injustice Gods Among Us is great but a very short story and very easy to beat.

Controls
The controls in this game are pretty much the same as Mortal Kombat. Every control is very simple and is very easy to learn. Each button has its own control and can be confusing at various amounts of times. Your thinking that A might be jumping sometimes but its actually pulling up on the Joystick. Combos in this game are various amounts buttons that can be hard to remember. The game uses a four button control layout of light, medium, and heavy attacks, along with "character trait" with a special ability of the character you are. I very much so like the controls of this game but it really gets confusing at times since each button has its own control. Overall Great controls very little improvements need to be made here.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are not the best but they are OK. Although each characters look detailed you can tell that they look like they are clay figures. They went really into detail into this game by putting wrinkles on peoples faces, hair details, and great animations. The characters are smooth looking and have great detail on the environments like trees, plants, and the caves. There is not very much to say here but overall the graphics are great but they arent that bad.
