Even though he is in immense form, I don't think he is worth over 100M, let alone 130M, at most I think he is worth 60-70 million.

The release clause isn't a matter of giving Suarez a value, it is there to wear off other clubs from a potential bid. Suarez is currently earning 10 million a year at us, so adding his wages and buyout clause you get 150 million or 180 million over a 5 year deal. It is highly unlikely anyone will pay that, much to our delight.

Ivanovic. Yes he is classed as an RB, but he can easily play in CB, in my opinion he is better in that position, Azpilicueta to go RB, and we should get Luke shaw for LB, he can become really good.

I agree Ivanovic is a powerfuul guy at the back!

Azpilicueta is fast enough to play RB and Luke shaw is just brilliant for his age!

dont see why Terry is getting played i know he brings experience to the team but we have Cech and Lampard for that

I personally think Gary Cahill is one of the best at back in the league so solid and when ive seen his play he never is half hearted going for tackles, headers etc

I heard the other week that Chelsea were going to offer 40mil plus Torres for Suarez, but I really don't see that happening


And where is this 70 million release clause you speak of? It certainly isn't in his contract.

Naaa he's not worth more than Ronaldo not a chance. But neither was Bale and he still went.

He is world class though. No doubt about it. Best player in the prem atm.
