I was never I fan of this seris. I honestly think they made way too many games like final fantasy did. It might be a good game, and it might get a lot of buyers, but in the end it is just a cash grab like the CODs

good game completed every achievement on the game but it is 10x better with a friend

I love how in some parts you have to press a certain button and if you don't something just randomly rips your head off lol.

The controls of the game seems to be bothering everyone but personally the controls just grew into me, it was'nt a big problem(although there was some funny moments while reloading)It's not like the game is unplayable it just has a unique control choice. This stop and shoot mechanic has been there since the first RE although I'm new to the series. The only thing to complain about is the fact that its not all that scary and is about action,action,action. The graphics for me was stunning, and playing co-op with friends on story and mercenary modes extends the game well beyond its purpose.(also lots of unlockables) Overall this game at least deserves a rent from you so you can decide the fate of owning it.
