when i pull up the messages to invite people to my game i try to scroll to the three dots on the right and it won't let me?

when i try to set my xbox as my home xbox it comes up with a error message saying "Unable to save your changes Something went wrong when we tried to save your changes. Please make your changes again" i keep trying it but nothing happens i have tried basically everything to try to make it work. has anybody else had this problem or having it?
