Hey, r00t I asked you this along time ago but my preferences have changed and spending money has lowered, besides that please tell me what would best suit me.

Budget: $115.

Music preferences: Rap and Dubstep.

Type/form-factor: Closed not in ear so headphones. (over ear)

Open or closed: Closed.

Listening from: iPhone.

Details: Portable and Durable.

The "gunmetal black" and "pearl white" models of the V-Moda LP are around $115. They seem to be exactly what you're looking for! Bassy, durable, and made as a portable headphone.

I wouldn't call the LP2 a newer model of the LP, I'd call it a higher-end model in the line. It's priced much higher and performs better as such.

Would it make sense to invest into a pair of those? or to just get the LPs, or even investing for a ATH-M50

If you want a step up from the LP, yes, you could shell out for the LP2, but instead I would get the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII. They should set you back about $170. For you I would not recommend the M50 because it's a more neutral headphone and it's outclassed by other products in its price range.

In your request post you perfectly described the LP. I mean really, it sounds like it was made for you!

So I ended up getting the ATH-M50s since there was a shop here locally selling them. I absolutely love them! I would have gotten the LPs if they were local.

Budget: under $20 ( maybe a little more)

Type: In ear

Music I listen to: Lots of things (From country to dubstep )

Listening from: iPod Touch 4g (Soon maybe 5g)

I don't want to pay to much for these because I'm probably gonna just use them for school. So they don't have to be amazing.
