Synopsis
(Provided by Xbox.com) Tapping into fans muscle memories, the gameplay returns to controllers and focuses on the satisfaction of linking sick tricks for maximum points. Combining sharp visuals with the best controls ever in a Tony Hawk game, the feel is cutting edge yet timeless.

Gameplay
In this new installment in the Tony Hawk series, you play as multiple Pro Skaters from the modern age, Tony Hawk, and you're very own avatar! The object of the game is to score points, collect the letters S.K.A.T.E , complete special challenges on each of all SEVEN maps(The maps are remakes of some in previous Tony Hawk games) Yes, there are seven maps, but the reason for that could be that the DLC for this game will be ALL the previous games in the Tony Hawk series! There are 5 game modes on Singe Player and 4 on Multiplayer(can only play through Xbox LIVE, another downside of this game NO SPLITSCREEN)
Free Skate - (both single and multiplayer) no time limit so free to skate and do whatever you feel like doing
HawkMan - (singleplayer only) skate under a time limit to earn Career Cash, money that can be spent to buy skill points or tricks
Big Head Survival (both single and multiplayer) skate under a limited time without letting your head burst for the maximum Career Cash awarded. The more points you accumulate the smaller your head gets. the longer you go without acquiring points, the bigger and faster your head gets!
Career - (singleplayer only) you can play as any of the selected characters and each individual characters you play as go at their own separate pace, as in unlocking each map. On each map, you must do certain tasks to acquire Career Cash and to complete the level and move on to the next map. Tasks include collecting all the letters for S.K.A.T.E. , acquiring a certain amount of points, as you progress the points get higher, finding the Secret DVD, and a few more that are different for every map.
Single Session - (singleplayer only) You must put together your best two minute run, and trick values decrease every time they are performed, so you must vary up the tricks you do each combo.
Trick Attack - (multiplayer only) To win, you must have the highest score when the time runs out, that's all there is to it!
Graffiti (multiplayer only) In this game mode, you have to do a trick on every ramp, grind, or surface available. Once performed a trick on a surface the object will turn a color when tricked on, and to gain someone elses surface, you must perform a trick with a score higher then theirs. To win, you must simply have the most objects tagged when the time expires.

Graphics
The Graphics on this game are decent, but give you an old game feel. The characters don't really look anything like they do IRL and for a little bit everytime i would fall, I would fall into the map.

Controls
The controls for this game in my opinion, really are not that great. Compared to the Skate games where you can flick the right trigger in certain directions to perform a certain trick, or you just ollie towards a rail to grind, it's completely backwoods. In this game, to perform an ollie, you press A, to perform a flip trick you combine the right trigger and X. For a grind, you ollie onto a rail or ledge and you can either press or hold Y. For a grab, it is B. Absolutely horrid, but, you do get used to it after a while.

Ratings
Gameplay - 8/10
Graphics - 7/10
Controls - 6/10
Average Rating - 7/10
If you're a fan of Tony Hawk or skateboarding itself, I will suggest you get this game, but there are some downfalls to it.

Decent game although whether it was the MSP is debatable I think 800 would of been better and no DLC yet either!
